Hi, I’m Michelle, a Detroit-based wedding photographer who genuinely loves people, photographs, and watching two people become a family in front of the people they love most.
I’m drawn to the parts of a wedding day that happen naturally: the movement, the emotion, the people watching from the sidelines, and all the little moments that would be easy to miss. I’ll guide you when you need me, but I’m happiest when I can step back and let you be fully present while I pay attention to everything happening around you.
Photography became even more personal to me after my own wedding, when my mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm just nine days later. The photographs from that season became a way back to memories she could no longer clearly hold onto. It changed the way I see this work, and why I care so deeply about preserving the moments that may mean even more to you years from now.
